This week was awesome! It was kind of hard because we couldn't go out as much because the 24, 25, 31 and 1 are pretty much the craziest days here in the DR. We got to go to the temple though which was awesome!! I went with a lot of questions in mind especially for what the Lord wanted from me for the last part of my mission. I can't really explain everything that happened partly because it would take forever but basically I love the temple and it is by far the best place to receive revelation!
For New Years we made some bomb burritos! I now live with a missionary named Elder Myers. He is super awesome and from Arizona. We made them together and the other missionaries loved them. I attatched a picture of when we had everything prepared. Later that night we went over to a recent converts house and ate hot dogs and played dominos. I actually have gotten pretty dang good and want to teach a lot of people when I get home because it is a super fun game!
Another fun little story is the sisters had a baptism and we had to go fill up the font. When we got there we realized there was a problem, there wasn't any water. We called the other missionaries and had to figure out what to do. We worked with the water for a while but we couldn't get it worked out so we had to call a truck and fill the font up with a giant hose. It was kind of fun!
But yeah this week was a little boring because we had to stay inside a lot but I am super pumped ofr January! I know this month is going to be full of miracles and there are many people waiting to start the year of by making a covenant with our Father in Heaven.
I love yall a ton!! Have an amazing first week of 2018!!!
Love,
Elder Robertson
